Specifically, the Precise Plan subareas (defined by the PRECPLAN_SUB attribute) require borders that are different than the Precise Plans, themselves. This layer is a dissolve of the ZoningDistrict layer based on the Zone Label, so does not include the subareas. This layer is defined by and dependent on the ZoningDistrict layer and must be updated when ZoningDistrict is. When updating, please ensure the following:</SPAN></P><UL><LI><P><SPAN>Create Single-Part features. This ensures that labels are shown on every contiguous area, rather than only once on the screen.</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN>Ensure adjacent Planned Community districts (that do not have a Precise Plan) are shown separately. Examples of these are 555 and 500 West Middlefield Road, sites near the intersection of North Shoreline Boulevard and Mountain Shadows Drive, and sites on either side of Linda Vista Avenue, north of Terra Bella Avenue. The ZoningDistrict layer maintains a small buffer between these districts. If the resulting districts are merged in the dissolve, the spatial tolerances may be too small.</SPAN></P></LI></UL><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
