Service Description: Imagery was collected over several months in early 2022 in partnership with Santa Clara County. This service was created using MrSID files with updated extents received in March 2023. The service is intended for map products focusing on the area in and immediately around the City of Mountain View. Where the extents match, the imagery contained is expected to match the imagery in county REST service Ortho Imagery 2022 Limited Cities (https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=b9c857081abc4417a73fcb9ba71c41db). Metadata in that service pertinent to the collection process should apply here as well; lower (0.5-foot pixel) resolution applies primarily to bay area north of Shoreline Park. Imagery here was selected from the end of the 11/21-3/22 collection period to balance two priorities affecting ground visibility: minimizing both foliage volume ("leaf-off") and shadow length.
