Service Description: Imagery was collected over several months in early 2023 in partnership with Santa Clara County. The service is intended for map products focusing on the area in and immediately around the City of Mountain View. Where the extents match, the imagery contained is expected to match the imagery in county REST service Ortho Imagery 2023 Limited Cities (https://mapimages.sccgov.org/arcgis/rest/services/imagery/OrthoImagery2023_LimitedCities/ImageServer). Metadata in that service pertinent to the collection process should apply here as well; lower (0.5-foot pixel) resolution applies primarily to bay area north of Shoreline Park. Imagery collection period is intended to balance two priorities affecting ground visibility: minimizing both foliage volume ("leaf-off") and shadow length.
